My mom tells me (and this is where I get most of my information on flowers and plants and many, many other things) this is called a Money Plant (or something like that, I'm not sure I actually remember anymore). Apparently this is actually kind of ugly when it's actually alive. But people grow it so that the leaves dry out and turn into this. And who can blame them when they end up looking this cool right?
Still a little weird to grow something to just so it can die. That's usually the part I try to (and fail miserably at, by the way) avoid. But what do I know? I can't even remember the name of the plant.
